Kah Chye serves as an independent board member and advisor for a select number of global organisations.

 

Most recently, Kah Chye was the Chairman of the ICC Banking Commission, the leading industry body for the establishment of Trade Finance standards and policies. Under his leadership, ICC introduced the ICC Trade Finance Register to assist the industry in formulating the right Basel III capital adequacy policy. Kah Chye also co-founded the ICC Academy to provide industry-leading business education.

 

With over 20 years of banking and asset management experience in Singapore, Frankfurt and London, Kah Chye’s career has included global P&L responsibilities at institutions including JPM Chase, Barclays Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Deutsche Bank and Citibank. Kah Chye also notably led the successful development of the world’s first synthetic securitization of trade finance assets.

Nast was most recently with Standard Chartered Bank where he held a number of global leadership positions including Global Head of Cash Management, Global Head of Transaction Banking Sales & Client Management, and Global Head of Transaction Banking Product Management.

 

Mr Nast was also formerly a partner at McKinsey & Company, where he led the Asia Pacific wholesale banking practice and provided strategic advice on transaction, corporate and investment banking, capital markets, exchanges, and securitisation to financial instititutions, central banks, and regulators.

Emily has over a decade of corporate and transaction banking experience with major international banks such as HSBC, MUFG and Standard Chartered Bank. Her experience spans across relationship management, solution structuring, product commercialization, strategy and business planning. She has an established track record in origination and structuring of trade and supply chain solutions. As a result of her diverse and deep experience in the business, she was seconded into Human Resource, where she led the people development and competency building agenda for Standard Chartered’s Transaction Banking business globally.

 

In late 2015, she transitioned into the area of digital trade payments and financing working with financial technology companies such as MasterCard and Affinitium Pte Ltd. During this period, her projects include those relating to e-commerce payments and trading platforms, e-pay and collections solutions as well as government-led initiatives to digitize trade and facilitate inclusive growth tools for SMEs.

Rahul Arora

Rahul is a seasoned financial markets executive with proven leadership, communication and influencing skills as well as demonstrated experience developing tailored (corporate finance, asset finance and structured finance -both recourse and non-recourse) solutions for clients executed in the bank and capital markets.

 

Currently serving as Treasurer and Board member for a non-profit and on the Advisory Board of a Singapore based FinTech,  Rahul previously served on boards of a UK domiciled, US broker Dealer, and on 2 non-profit boards.  He has spent 25+ years based in Singapore, London and Chicago advising CFOs, Treasurers and Finance Directors across a variety of industries.  His career has included key roles with regional/product P&L responsibilities in Asia, Europe and the US at Westpac Institutional Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Bank of America, and Duff & Phelps Credit Ratings.

 

In these roles, Rahul provided strategic and financing advice to corporates, financial institutions, and government-linked entities; developed and executed tailored solutions for issuing clients in the developed and emerging markets and investor clients in the US, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Rahul has proven ability to articulate and position complex products to a range of investors with different levels of sophistication and experience with a demonstrated track record of raising capital/distributing product through different economic cycles.

 

Rahul also notably led the successful structuring and distribution of the world’s first synthetic securitization of trade finance assets.
